If you would like to order custom-made boots, download our made-to-measure guide and follow the step-by-step instructions. We also offer you below some instructions for taking your measurements.
Measuring the perimeter of your calf:
It is recommended to take this measurement sitting, barefoot, checking that your foot is flat on the ground. Measure the circumference of your calf, where it is strongest, taking into account the height of the boot.
Measuring the height of your boot:
To take this measurement, you must be standing straight, barefoot, with your foot flat on the ground. For greater ease, ask a third person to measure, on the profile of your leg, the height you want from the ground. The maximum boot height is 3 cm below the hollow of the knee because a boot going into the hollow of the knee could cause discomfort when squatting. Note that this measurement does not take into account the total height of the boot (including sole and heel).
Measuring the instep:
Concerning the instep, the simplest thing is to determine whether with other shoes you have noticed that you have a thin, strong, or rather normal instep. If in doubt, do not hesitate to contact our customer service by email at info@labottegardiane.com .
